Traders Proxy review and real execution benchmarks
The short answer
This Traders Proxy review covers suitability for discretionary traders using native proxy settings. We outline three observable tests to measure routing on your own terminal. If your platform can’t connect through us and support can’t fix it, we refund your first payment.
Local packet recovery in your broker city
You trade on your own screen, as you do now. Your platform’s data reaches your broker through our server in your broker’s city.
It works with any trading platform that has a proxy setting. MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), TradingView Desktop and Optuma are examples. Each platform’s maker decides which of its connections use that setting.
When you click Buy, your order travels as distinct network packets. If congested transit loses a packet, your computer retransmits from far away while queued messages stall. During active sessions, that delay creates fill slip, and distance makes recovery slower.
Our server maintains an independent connection to your broker trade server. We prioritise your trading port during heavy volume. Data dropped on that local link is recovered right inside that broker metro.
We wrote the custom Go routing engine in house. It prunes stale sockets so your platform reconnects cleanly. Trading port traffic always takes priority over background activity.

Traders who should choose an alternative setup
- You need a trading robot to run while your computer is off. A VPS is the right tool. See our VPS comparison.
- You need an address only you use. Our server address is shared across accounts in that city, and it is never private. Read how the shared address works.
- Your broker prohibits proxies. If your broker prohibits proxies, don’t use one.
- Your broker’s server is in a city we don’t list, so our server can’t make the final connection from that city.
Three benchmark tests to run on your own terminal
- In your first busy session, time your platform without us and then with us. Use our connection check and write both numbers down, so you judge us on numbers, not a feeling.
- Open your dashboard and see your device, your data use and how busy our server is, live. That shows it is working before you trade on it.
- Run two demo accounts through a news release, one with us and one without. That shows the difference when it counts, with no real money at stake.
The first two need no news release, so run them on day 1.
If the two times are the same, you don’t need us. Ask for a refund inside the refund window. If they differ, weigh the difference against what the plan costs.

Simple setup without complex software installations
- Pay. Pick a plan and pay on Stripe’s page. We never see your card number. The next page lets you set your dashboard password, and that link is shown once.
- Set up. In your dashboard, choose your broker’s city. Then copy the four values from Your values into your platform’s proxy setting.
- Run your three checks. If your platform can’t connect through us and support can’t fix it, we refund your first payment within 7 days on a monthly plan, or 14 days on a yearly plan or Founder 50. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. How refunds work.
- Leave any time. Choose Cancel renewal in your dashboard. Your service runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Is this an independent review?
No, this is our transparent assessment. Your own terminal checks during live market conditions provide the genuine test.
Will it lower my ping or prevent disconnects?
Ping measures the physical round-trip transit time, so physical distance sets the irreducible floor. We do not promise lower ping or immunity from local internet disconnects. Our server software clears dead connections promptly so your terminal reconnects without manual restarts.
Can I trust Traders Proxy with my card?
Stripe handles card processing, so we never see or store your payment numbers. You can also pay via crypto. Review is Traders Proxy a scam for what we handle and what we never touch.

Broker and firm rules on proxies, VPNs and shared addresses
